Just another update!

I stopped taking my meds (Sunday) and had a Dr.'s appt today. He said I am effaced and the cervix is so thin he can feel the roundness of the babies head. However I am not dilating. It looks like I am progressing though. Doc says it is very unpredictable. I may not make it to my next appt in a week or I may go over due! What...I don't think so! I am having irregular contractions and lots of back labor. FUN FUN! My Step-Son asked why I walked funny. I told him to stand with his legs spread and let me kick him in the crotch 40 times and see how he walks! OUCH! He declined...I wonder why? LOL

We also met a Family Dr. that we really liked that is going to be taking care of the baby and our family. I like the idea of having a Family Dr. instead of a Pediatrician. We can all see the same one! Yiiiiippppeeee!

I will also be posting about the wonderful baby shower that was given to me soon too. Got to get pictures downloaded. I had a great time and everyone was so good to us! It was so nice seeing people I hadn't seen in a long time! Thank you to all who participated! I love you all! Sorry to those who couldn't make it for various reasons.....you missed out! :-P

Well I am off for now. Didn't sleep much last night and I need all the sleep I can get. Who knows when the little one will be coming!

Update

Well we went to the Dr. today and no real new news! I am still effaced, but not dilating. He is still planning on taking me off my crack meds on the 16th of Feb. I advised my Dr. that if I had the baby this week my Mom said she was going to kick his ASS! He laughed. He obviously doesn't know my Mom! He hasn't put me on bed rest yet, so I am still working. I also asked about a birth plan, so we are gonna work on one of those this week. Also people we asking "how big the baby is" He said it would probably be 7-8lbs! OUCH! but the bigger the better right?! means its healthy! Well I am off to bed. Trying to take it easy. I will update you again soon!

Update

Sorry I haven't put in a update....better late than ever! I still haven't given birth! WHEW! I went to the Dr. on Monday and He is keeping me on the medication until 36 weeks. Great! I get to feel like a crack addict until the 16th of Feb! I guess the baby thinks that its living quarters are too small! I beg to differ with it! My stomach is still hard as a rock and I am having back labor! fun fun...NOT! I wasn't effacing yet when I was at the hospital, but by Monday My Dr. said I was partially Effaced. Sooooo.....I am not sure what is going to happen. I hope I can at least hold the baby in until Feb 16th. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. They have definitely been needed! I will update more later.

Update

I decided I better do an update on my pregnancy. Sorry, No recipe on this entry! LOL (that doesn't mean I won't talk about food!) Well the baby is moving like crazy! It is hard for others to feel it, but I sure do! At first I thought it was just gas, but it wasn't....lol The baby even wakes me up in the middle of the night doing acrobatic movements! I thought the second trimester you weren't supposed to throw up as much....wrong! I need to take some new baby belly pictures....I will in the next few days! Also Cornflakes rock! I have been craving them like crazy. Yesterday the family all had icecream for dessert and I had CORNFLAKES! Yummmmmmmy!
