Headache

Yesterday was the worst I have felt since I found out I was pregnant! I came home and took a nap because I was exhausted! When I woke, I had a nasty headache! UGH! My wonderful Hubby made me dinner and we started watching the "Quiet Man" I went back to bed a little later and woke this AM with a slight headache. I hope I can kick it today! Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday Gwen!

Today we celebrated my Step-Daughter Gwen's 14th Birthday! Wow where does the time go! She is growing up so fast. Something to look forward to I guess. We had a surprise Birthday Party over at her Step-Dad's, Mom's and Step-Dad's house. Now did you get that?? LOL OK, so we are kind of the odd bunch! I get along with Bill's Ex-wife ( let's just call her our Ex-wife ) Our ex-wife is looking for a house near us, so keep your fingers crossed she finds something down the street! (I told you we are weird, didn't I?) It would be so much easier on the kids! K~ back to the party! We blind folded Gwen and drove over the her Step-Grandmother and Step-Grandfathers house, pulled off the blindfold and everyone yelled SURPRISE! She was surprised, I think. We ate a late breakfast Granny D made....mmmm it was yummy! Then we went swimming in their semi new pool! YES, I put on a swimming suit! Can you believe it? I felt like a beached whale, but no one threw up or ran. Then we had some snacks (meat, cheese and fruit) We played Scattergories, good fun! Went swimming and ate dinner (Pork in the crock pot, scalloped potatoes and salad) Wow! We ate all day and I feel like it! Everybody took the Key Lime Pie Trifle to go! We came home and laid down for a nap. We just woke up, guess we needed it! Well I hope Gwen had a good Birthday!

The baby's first Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard

So last night I had a craving! SO the kids and I jumped in the car and was off to Dairy Queen for a BLIZZARD! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard to be exact! MMMMM it was yummy. I think everyone enjoyed them! I know I can't do this every night or I will be very large, but once in a while, the baby gets what it wants!

Sense of humor.

OK...So I have decided that God has a very strange sense of humor! Why do your Boobs get bigger and hurt?! Doesn't he know Boys want to see them, but they also want to touch them! AND thats when we want to hurt them! I know I know, I am newly pregnant and it gets worse, but OUCH! The wind blows and it hurts! It is just wrong!

Well my wonderful Mother has pointed out, if you look at the baby through a magnifying glass....it has a tail! Well we know that comes from my Dad's side of the family. Had mine removed when I was little. Thanks Dad!

Waited this long....and the complaining begins

Ok....I was warned about the wonderful things that happen to you during pregnancy! If you do not want TMI stop reading. Now I believe when people tell you....YOU will be constipated...you will be! But....I found my best friend Miralax! Just wished it would help that bloated....I am as big as a cow feeling. If anyone has any suggestions, I take them :) Also I can barely keep my eyes open! I am soooooo tired! I am still working as a CNA and loving it. I am not getting enough hours, but I am too tired to argue with them. I have been nauseated, but haven't thrown up much! YIIPPPEEE! All in all I am feeling pretty dang good!

It's Official!

Well....got up at 6:00 am this am. Took a shower and got ready. Bill and I made our way downtown a little after 7:00. My wonderful Hubby is always running a little late :} I was feeling queasy and a little nervous. We let the front desk know we were there and they said they would call us. We had some nervous chatter while waiting, giggling like school girls. Someone calls "Kristen" and we get ushered into another room. I am instructed what to do and the lady leaves. She comes back and the fun begins. We get to see OUR baby for the first time! As I am laying there, I see the little heart beating 2 times per second. Bill reaches up and holds my hand and tears are in both of our eyes. What an amazing moment. The nice lady makes sure there aren't more little ones.....Whew just one! I am 6 weeks and 1 day. My due date is between March 11th and 18th. My nurse Kristy said Dr. Tim would tell us the exact date, but he forgot! BOYS :) So here's a picture of our little "blob" I mean baby! Thank God the nice lady put an arrow and labeled the baby. Hopefully by the time I am at full term I will be able to look at a ultra-sound and know what I am looking at!
