Whew I made it!

Today was my first day back at work! I made it! Whew. I didn't cry once. Now don't get me wrong...I cried last night when I held my baby girl in my arms. Today I was ok though. I did stop by in between clients and held her ;-D that made me happy! I had heard how hard it was to pump at work (people say its too hard to relax) but i did great! got 4 1/2 oz! WOOT! I am holding Jillian right now and it is the best thing ever!

Well it is official...Jillian is outgrown the newborn diapers :( I can't believe it! They do grow so fast. Her newborn outfits still fit, but soon will be sausage-like fitting. This is all bittersweet to me. I love that she is changing so much, but also you got to love that little baby stage. I am really enjoying her daily changes. She watches you when you talk to her like she really does understand. It is so dang cute! I love to just sit and watch her...the faces she makes are soooo funny. Especially when she poops! She gets real serious, her mouth forms into an O and she gets red around her eyes. I have nicknamed her Super Pooper because she can poop thru 2 layers of clothing in a single bound! LOL I also sing this to her all the time. Momma grabs a rumpa-roonie on her little super pooper. I think she needs a cape! She also smiles a ton now! Recently she has decided she likes it when I say SHHHHHH...she stares at me and then smiles. She is a very happy baby and doesn't fuss a ton. A couple of days ago she went in for her immunizations. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I mean ya you hate to see your child hurting, but she was a real trooper. 2 nurses came in and tagged teamed her. They stuck her in each leg and I held her arms. She screamed and I picked her up immediately and loved on her. She stopped fussing almost immediately. She was more pissed when I put her in the car seat. She hates being tied down! She wasn't too affected by her shots. I did give her some Tylenol

I started taking phenugreek and alfalfa to see if I could up my milk supply and I think it is working....yeah! Also I can't believe I am saying this, but my boobs don't hurt! Now that is good news!

Random stuff!

I am so far behind....someday maybe I can catch up! I decided I would just start blogging again. This entry is going to be random stuff.

We took Jillian in for a Ultra Sound and everything was ok. I think she thought we were trying to Chinese water torture to her. Poor kid. I have realized there are different cries. There is a "I am pissed cry" and there is a "I am scared cry" I hate that one! Breaks my heart! I also to her to Gastrologist to check her tummy. He said it was acid reflux too and continue medicine. Well we quit giving it to her and she hasn't spit up blood.

While we were at the specialist (they are in the same building as my obstetrician) I decided to go in and see a nurse about my nipple being white. She took one look at it and got the Dr. My Dr. was not there. He came and said. "You need to trust me" and in the next breath "You aren't going to like me" OK not cool! LOL He told me he was going to have to squeeze my nipple because there was a clogged milk duct. OUCH! The nurse held my hands (hoping I wouldn't punch the Dr.) , but it didn't work. So the Dr. came back in with a needle. He poked it and then squeezed again! That hurt ALOT! Then he told me to go home and nurse on that side. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! He suggested I take Lecithin, it helps keep milk ducts from clogging. I hope so! I am also taking Alfalfa and Fenugreek. They are supposed to help me produce more milk. We will see.

Jillian is changing so much every day! She is so dang cute. She is smiling alot and its not just gas! She is growing out of her newborn diapers ~sniff sniff~ Plus her newborn clothes fit her really well right now. I am still going to my Breast feeding support group. I go back to work on May 4th ~sob~ I have enjoyed being home, but I don't get paid from my good looks (dang it!) I always said "I wish I was rich instead of being cute" LOL I am very fortunate my "wonderful" Mother is going to watch Jillian. I can't believe how much Jillian has changed in the past month. She is holding her head up alot and she watches you now when you talk to her.

I want my body back! LOL My old clothes don't fit me. My maternity clothes are too big! I don't want nor can afford new clothes! Thank God scrubs are big and baggy! I have lost 20 of my 35 LBS but I want to lose another 30 LBS. I am planning on going back on Weight Watchers. It is weird.....every where I have lived...a Weight Watchers has moved in! They are watching me....it creeps me out! LOL

Well that is it for now. I will try and update more often :P
