White water rafting!

We decided we needed to do more things with Gwen and Jake. They are getting to be perfect ages to get out there and do. Grandma is happy because that means we leave Jillian at home =) We made a reservation with Cascade Raft company for a 1/2 day adventure starting at 5pm. We drove up to Horse Shoe Bend and then we rode in a bus up to Banks. It was a lot of fun! There were class 2 and 3 rapids....it goes up to 5 (class 2-3 are for beginners) We took turns riding on the front (they called it riding the bull) We were on the water for about 2 hours....wish it was longer! Maybe next time we will try a full day...where they stop to have lunch!

Pool Time! Bathing beauty =)

Here is our little bathing beauty...and I am not talking about Bill! Grandma bought her this cute pool. We went to look for a bathing suit and they are hard to find for a little little one! We found a cute little poka dot outfit that can be used for a suit. A week later my Dad found the strawberry one! So cute huh?!

TEETH! Are you kidding me!?

Don't you think 4 months old is a little early to get teeth! Well Jillian has 2! She got her first tooth yesterday and another today~both on the bottom! I can't believe it! She is gonna be eating steak by the time she is 6 months! LOL this whole teeth thing has made me nervous....I am still nursing! OUCH! I just hope she doesn't get any top teeth for a bit. Finally got a picture of the little buggers! However...it also looks like she is flipping us off! Our baby is even sarcastic!

Jillians first camping trip!

We decided to take the baby camping to see how she was going to like it. I think she liked it! The weekend started out a little rocky...there was some disagreements of where to go. I was worried Stanley would be too cold. Bill and the kids (minus the baby) went up Friday afternoon and My Parents, Jillian and I went up when I got off work. My Dad met us at our house with their dog and our cat scared their dog and it peed on my bedroom floor. We drove up and arrrived around 7pm. We set our stuff up and hung out till dark. We had a fire and did smores. Jillian slept between Bill and I. She did not get cold, however my head was very cold. So I wrapped a blanket around my head. Bill and the kids and I went down to a hot spring for about an hour. A lot of the pools were overcome by river, but it was nice. We only stayed 2 nights. When we were leaving on Sunday....My Dad was walking the dog and he tripped over some rocks and fell. I was the only one who saw everything! It was horrible. His glasses cut his nose and he hurt his ribs and wrist. He ended up being ok, but scared us all. My Mom ended up taking him to the Dr. and they said nothing was broken. That didn't make him feel any better! Overall we had a good time. Or I might say....when it was good...it was good and when it was bad...it was bad! I added a few pics, but will add more.

Happy Papas Day!

Jillian and I got up early this morning to make Papa a card and video! I used oil paints on her feet to make a footprint on his card. Whew....glad oil paints come off babies feet! LOL (I didn't have any other paints!) Jillian had a bath right after. I think I will make heart shaped waffles for breakfast. Baby is sleeping right now...so I thought I would write a little.

Jillian is such a happy baby! No don't get me wrong. She screams and fusses, but for the most part...she is happy! She is talking more and more and really starting to get quite the personality! She is so much fun and I am so happy I "waited" for her! She was worth it. Now that doesn't mean I don't forget all the things she did to me while I was prego and giving birth!

Rollin Rollin Rollin!

Jillian was doing some tummy time when she was with my Mom yesterday and she rolled over on her back! WOOOOT! I can't wait to see her do it also!

A few days later Jillian rolled over for me. Bill missed it :( He grabbed the camera and tried to have her do it again. Well you know how kids are! She wouldn't do it. He was standing over her saying "rollover....rollover...rollover!" It was quite comical! She didn't rollover until the camera was off! Gotta love kids!

Happiest baby!

We are so lucky! We have a very happy baby! She is aways smiling! When she smiles her whole face lights up. I absolutely love it! She is such a cutie and from what I have heard...its not just me! Everyone thinks she is adorable.

I had a very nice "first" Mother's day. We had my parents over for a Bar-b-cue. We got my Mom a calendar of Jillian! Happy Mommas day! It is so adorable and my Mom has been showing it off to everybody! My DH got me the cutest mouse pad with pics of the family "Our Gang" I just love it!

I have to say...I am very surprised that I love breast feeding. At first I wasn't sure about it. I was in quite a bit of pain and it was very tiring. I am very glad that I have stuck with it. I think one of the reasons I have is because of my breast feeding support group. They are awesome! If you know anyone that is going to breast feed suggest them going to the breast feeding group at St. Lukes. I actually have thought that when I do quit...I am going to miss it. I love the closeness and the bonding time spent with her. Now we will see how I feel when she starts to get teeth. YIKES! I am a little scared! I have heard it is fine, but I am still afraid.

So we went to have Jillians pictures taken and yikes! She was not happy! Lindy took our wedding pictures and now was going to take some of the little one. Well she was not really cooperative, but she did get a few. She is going to take more soon.
