Little Miss~ Isn't she cute!

My little one has decided she likes drinking from a glass! She is too funny. She was watching her Daddy drink water and wanted some too! Well he gave her some and she threw a fit when he took it away. So when we were at the store we bought her a sippy cup of her own. It is gonna take some time for her to figure it out, but I think she is gonna love it!

It all started last Summer...........Bill wanted to go to Silverwood Theme Park (up North) in Athol. (My first rant) Now why would they call a place Athol is beyond me! LOL Okay..back to our adventure...Bill wanted to go to Silverwood when I was prego...I said no way! But I promised we would after the baby was born ( I called my Mom last Summer and asked her to babysit...she thought I was a little crazy since the baby hadn't even been born, but she said yes!) We almost went 2 weekends ago, but decided to go this weekend. My friend Nicole told me I could purchase the passes to get in at Costco (at a discount)and she met Bill to get them a few weeks ago! So everything was set and got on the flight to Spokane (we fly free because my hubby works for the airlines and we fly standby) Here is where the adventure begins....when we got to the airport it didn't look good....it was overbooked because they had a flight cancel the day before....ugh! They finally called us! YIIIIPPPEEE! Little did I know...this was gonna be interesting. Now Spokane is an hour flight....no big deal....right???....lol....when I travel anywhere...I will be bringing snacks from now on! We flew to Spokane just fine, however....I guess the runway that Southwest usually uses to land was under construction ....the airline has certain guidelines and wasn't able to land because of low cloud cover (basically they needed a visual approach). We circled Spokane for a bit, but because of fuel..they had to make a decision. The pilot decided to go back to Boise! This decision did not thrill anyone! When the pilot let us in on the decision there was quite a lot of ruckus ... people crying, cursing, yelling and the poor flight attendants got the brunt of it. The pilot came on and explained why he made the decision and advised people not to take it out on the flight crew. Still people were not happy. The young couple in front of me was going to see their 95 y/o grandpa, some people sitting near Gwen were going to their Son's wedding....everybody had a place to go. I just wanted off the plane...I wasn't mad....just didn't want to continue with our "adventure" When we landed in Boise the pilot asked us not to get off the plane, they were going to have someone come on and talk to us. This pissed people off even more. The only people that came on were the cops! LOL I guess some guy in the back was making a scene and he was told to relax. The guy behind me was taping it just in case something funny happened for youtube! Also a few guys in front were being JERKS too and the pilot came out and talked to one of them (to be a fly on the wall for a talk like that! LOL). Finally the pilot came back on and said that the weather had improved and we were going to "TRY" it again. Once again....people were not happy! We did get to Spokane....he landed (Bill said it was more like...slamming to the ground instead of landing) the first shot and people cheered! We got our rental car and made our way to the park. We were getting there late and wanted to do as much as possible. We started in the boulder beach area. This is the water side of the park. (another "rant"....It was flippin cold! The high was 68 there. Now it had been HOT HOT HOT and now it was frigid!). I reluctantly changed into my swimsuit and few minutes later changed back into my jeans. Everyone else went into the water. I sat along side and watched (silently itching to get on the roller coasters! WOOT!) They started with Elkhorn Creek....The definition of "low intensity ride". You kick back and relax as you wind through the lazy river. Then they did Rumble Falls where they spun, slid, and splashed their way down a winding slide on a big bouncy tube. The last thing they did on the water side was Velocity Peak It is a high speed water slide tower. If you've ever wanted to hit 55 mph on a thin layer of water in nothing but your swimsuit, this is your place. I call it the water enema slide. HEHE Do I need to say more?!?! Everybody changed and we went to the "other" side. Now Jake was planning on riding everything with me! Gwen wasn't going to ride "any" coasters and Bill was sitting on the fence ( I wonder how those splinters felt!?) Jake and I started with Panic Plunge If you like suspense, the slow rise to the top of this 140 foot tall tower is almost as scary as the 47 mph drop. Almost. Then we all did Timber Terror It is wood coaster that is famous for its ability to put some air between you and your seat. Then we ate. Next we went on Thunder Canyon its a fast, fun, wild trip down a whitewater river. Chances of getting wet? About 100 percent. We did get wet and was wet the rest of the night! NOT COOL. Then all of us went on the Corkscrew it was brought to Silverwood in 1990, this metal beauty is a true piece of theme park history: the first coaster in the United States to take riders upside down. Then we got in line to go on Tremors we were in line for about 45 mins and left because something was wrong with a seat and they had to fix it. Then Gwen and I went on Aftershock It is the newest coaster at Silverwood boasts a 177 foot drop at 65 mph into 3 inversions. Once forwards and then backwards! After standing in line for a bit we were finally at the front and She decided she didn't want to go! I told her it would be fine....then we realized we had to sit apart because of the way it is designed...she was not happy. Before we even started they honked a horn and Gwen jumped! It was AWESOME! Gwen loved it and so did I! The boys missed out! We ended up going back to Tremors If you ride it, be prepared to drop over a hundred feet at 65 mph into a pitch dark underground tunnel. And that's just the first 30 seconds. By the time we got off...it was time to go home. We got our stuff out of the locker and headed to the car. NOW I did not pump or nurse all day....was I nuts....yes because I was very uncomfortable. I pumped in the car on the way back to the hotel. I will not do that to myself again! We got back to the hotel around and went to sleep. Our alarm went off at 4:15am UGH! We dropped off the car and got on our uneventful flight on the way home. We slept for a very long time when we got home! It was quite the trip =) When I woke up I got to hear all the fun Grandma and Jillian had. I was a little surprised about the strip poker they played and the bar fight they got into, but anything goes with Grandma! LOL

White water rafting!

We decided we needed to do more things with Gwen and Jake. They are getting to be perfect ages to get out there and do. Grandma is happy because that means we leave Jillian at home =) We made a reservation with Cascade Raft company for a 1/2 day adventure starting at 5pm. We drove up to Horse Shoe Bend and then we rode in a bus up to Banks. It was a lot of fun! There were class 2 and 3 rapids....it goes up to 5 (class 2-3 are for beginners) We took turns riding on the front (they called it riding the bull) We were on the water for about 2 hours....wish it was longer! Maybe next time we will try a full day...where they stop to have lunch!

Pool Time! Bathing beauty =)

Here is our little bathing beauty...and I am not talking about Bill! Grandma bought her this cute pool. We went to look for a bathing suit and they are hard to find for a little little one! We found a cute little poka dot outfit that can be used for a suit. A week later my Dad found the strawberry one! So cute huh?!

TEETH! Are you kidding me!?

Don't you think 4 months old is a little early to get teeth! Well Jillian has 2! She got her first tooth yesterday and another today~both on the bottom! I can't believe it! She is gonna be eating steak by the time she is 6 months! LOL this whole teeth thing has made me nervous....I am still nursing! OUCH! I just hope she doesn't get any top teeth for a bit. Finally got a picture of the little buggers! However...it also looks like she is flipping us off! Our baby is even sarcastic!

Jillians first camping trip!

We decided to take the baby camping to see how she was going to like it. I think she liked it! The weekend started out a little rocky...there was some disagreements of where to go. I was worried Stanley would be too cold. Bill and the kids (minus the baby) went up Friday afternoon and My Parents, Jillian and I went up when I got off work. My Dad met us at our house with their dog and our cat scared their dog and it peed on my bedroom floor. We drove up and arrrived around 7pm. We set our stuff up and hung out till dark. We had a fire and did smores. Jillian slept between Bill and I. She did not get cold, however my head was very cold. So I wrapped a blanket around my head. Bill and the kids and I went down to a hot spring for about an hour. A lot of the pools were overcome by river, but it was nice. We only stayed 2 nights. When we were leaving on Sunday....My Dad was walking the dog and he tripped over some rocks and fell. I was the only one who saw everything! It was horrible. His glasses cut his nose and he hurt his ribs and wrist. He ended up being ok, but scared us all. My Mom ended up taking him to the Dr. and they said nothing was broken. That didn't make him feel any better! Overall we had a good time. Or I might say....when it was good...it was good and when it was bad...it was bad! I added a few pics, but will add more.
